The short version. This page covers the skillquestapps.com website itself — there's no account to create here, no form to fill out, and no tracking or advertising script on the site. Each app we build has its own, more specific privacy policy, linked from that app's own page, describing exactly what that app does with information on your device.

What this policy covers

This is the privacy policy for the skillquestapps.com website — the pages you're browsing right now. It is not the privacy policy for any individual app. CuePro, Respiratory Study Buddy, and My COPD Buddy each have their own policy, written specifically for what that app does, linked from that app's own page on this site.

Information this website collects

This site doesn't have an account system, a contact form, or any cookie or tracking script of our own. We don't know who you are when you visit, and we don't try to find out.

Two things happen automatically, outside our control, the way they do on nearly any website:

Standard server logs. Our hosting provider may log routine request information — like IP address, browser type, and the page requested — for security and operational purposes. We don't use this to build a profile of visitors, and we don't have an analytics dashboard built on top of it.
Google Fonts. This site loads typefaces from Google's font service (fonts.googleapis.com / fonts.gstatic.com). Loading a font this way sends your browser's request, including your IP address, to Google, under Google's own privacy policy. We don't control what Google does with that request.

Links to our apps and to third parties

This site links out to each app's own page, to the App Store, and occasionally to other organizations. Once you follow one of those links, you're on that site or in that app, under its own privacy practices — not this one. Each app's page links to that app's specific privacy policy.

Children's privacy

This site isn't directed to children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect information from children. Since the site itself doesn't collect personal information from anyone, there's nothing specific to children to describe beyond that.

California privacy rights

SkillQuestApps is based in California. We do not sell or share personal information collected through this website, and we never have — there's no data broker relationship or advertising network to sell it to, and no personal information is collected here to sell in the first place.

International visitors

If you're visiting from outside the United States, including the EU, EEA, or UK, the same practices described above apply to you. We don't operate a server-side database of visitors, so there's no cross-border transfer of your information for us to describe beyond the routine hosting logs and Google Fonts request noted above.

Changes to this policy

If this site ever starts doing something this page doesn't describe — adding a contact form, an analytics tool, or anything else that collects visitor information — this policy will be updated first, and the date at the top will change.
