Terms of Use

These terms are an agreement between you and SkillQuest Apps (“we”, “us”), the maker of Huddle Buddy. By using Huddle Buddy you agree to them. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle your information.

What Huddle Buddy is, and isn’t

Huddle Buddy helps families and caregivers organize and share care for a loved one. It is not medical advice, not a medical device, and not an emergency service. It doesn’t diagnose, treat or tell anyone how to dose a medication. Always follow the advice of the person’s doctors and pharmacists.

In an emergency, call 911. Don’t rely on the app, notifications or anyone in a huddle to respond to an emergency.

Help & resources lists outside organizations. We check them regularly, but programs change; we don’t run them and can’t promise they’ll help.

Your account

• You must be at least 13 to use Huddle Buddy. To buy a subscription you must be old enough to do so where you live, or have a parent’s permission.
• Keep access to your email account safe: sign-in codes are sent there.
• You’re responsible for what happens in your account and for the people you invite.

Huddles and what you share

• You keep ownership of what you add. You give us permission to store it and show it to the people in your huddle, as their access allows, only to run Huddle Buddy.
• Only share information about a loved one that you have the right to share, such as with their permission or as their caregiver or legal representative.
• Admins decide who is in a huddle and what each person sees. Admins can remove people and delete content.
• Don’t use Huddle Buddy to harass anyone, share anything illegal, or try to get into huddles or accounts that aren’t yours.

Premium subscription

• Starting and running a huddle needs Huddle Buddy Premium, bought by one of its admins. One subscription covers up to 2 loved ones. People you invite never pay.
• New subscribers get a 1-week free trial. After the trial, the subscription is charged to your Apple ID and renews automatically each month or year at the price shown in the app, unless you turn off auto-renew at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
• Manage or cancel in your iPhone’s Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions. Canceling stops the next renewal; you keep Premium until the end of the period you paid for. Refunds are handled by Apple under its policies.
• If a huddle’s Premium ends, everything keeps working for 7 more days. After that the huddle becomes read-only: everyone can still see everything and ER Mode still works, but adding new things needs Premium again.
• We may change prices for future periods; Apple will tell you before a change applies to you.

Ending your use

You can stop using Huddle Buddy and delete your account at any time in the app. We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms or put others at risk, and we’ll tell you unless the law or safety prevents it.

Disclaimers

We work hard to keep Huddle Buddy reliable, but it’s provided “as is”. We don’t promise it will always be available, error-free, or that notifications will always arrive on time. To the extent the law allows, we disclaim implied warranties such as fitness for a particular purpose.

Limits on liability

To the extent the law allows, we aren’t liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for decisions made using information in the app. Our total liability for any claim about Huddle Buddy is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or $50 if you paid nothing. Some places don’t allow these limits, so they may not apply to you.

Apple

If you got Huddle Buddy from the App Store, Apple’s Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies. These terms are between you and us, not Apple; Apple isn’t responsible for Huddle Buddy or its support, and Apple and its subsidiaries may enforce these terms as third-party beneficiaries.

Changes

If we change these terms, we’ll update the date above, and for important changes we’ll tell you before they take effect. Continuing to use Huddle Buddy after that means you accept the new terms.
